I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to see that the boards could be reversed depending on what color you liked better. One side had a darker gray color and the other side had a white/gray wash.
I like the versatility. This desk is so easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. We are using this as a mutual purpose desk for zoom meetings and a vanity for guests. Great buy!

We bought this for our 20 year old college student and I am so glad I did. It's sturdy (we were able to anchor it to studs). It's super easy to put together and that is real pipe! This design is a huge space saver. Our son has little to no room in his new share rental and this desk is perfect.

Fairly easy for one person to put together (especially if you have experience building Ikea furniture). I installed this on a carpeted floor, so I did not screw the bottom feet in. The desk still feels steady and secure. Adjusting the bottom legs will keep the desk from wobbling. As noted by the seller, the desk is solid wood, not particleboard. Recommend if minimalist/industrial is your style, or you need a functional desk for a small space. Very pleased with my purchase.

My daughter loves her desk. It is very sturdy, doesn't take up a lot of space, well made. Bonus, you can use magnets to stick notes or pics or reminders on the pipes, very useful. Would recommend.
